Our co-founder and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Carrick is the head of Creative Startup Labs, a one-stop legal and business services agency and served as co-managing partner at the fashion and entertainment law firm, Lord Bertram. He has a unique dedication and passion for helping creative entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. After graduating from Harvard Law School, he began his legal career as an associate with Latham Watkins in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, where he excelled in both corporate transactional and litigation practice. Needing more, he eventually left big law firm life to pursue an MBA at IE in Madrid, Spain and develop an entrepreneurial career in fashion.
Upon graduation, Brad founded SOLZ, Inc., a unique brand creating “Functional Fashion for Active Lifestyles.” In 2012, SOLZ launched a series of innovative shoes and accessories that led them to win Designer of the Year honors in the San Francisco Fashion Awards.
With over a decade of legal and entrepreneurial experience, and graduate degrees from the top schools in both North America and Europe, he also holds an advanced degree from the University of Life and is happy to discuss his wild experiences and un-provable theories with anyone who will listen – off the clock. He has lived and worked in four different continents and currently allowed back in one of them.
